A seventh game will determine the winner between Boston and Philadelphia

Two late 3-pointers by Jayson Tatum forged Boston's 95-86 road victory over Philadelphia that sent the series into a decisive Game 7 that will determine which of the two teams will play for the NBA Eastern Conference title.

Marcus Smart scored 22 points and also dished out 7 assists for the winners. Tatum added 19, Jaylen Brown had 17, and Malcolm Brogdon added 16. Boston's rookie coach Joe Mazzula made some bold decisions that cost his team success.

He went the entire game with seven players, then pulled Tatum aside and didn't debrief him or encourage him to shoot after a string of inaccurate three-pointers. After the match, he admitted that he only told him: "I love you!". And the winger thanked for the trust with three-pointers, which the hosts simply denied: "I kept looking at the clock on the scoreboard.

And I said to myself: I have time, I have time. I believed that it was me who would make the difference in the game". He scored one for 84:83 for his team, and immediately after that another one for 87:83. And finally tamed the audience of Philadelphia with another three-pointer for 95:84.

And Boston, who were in a similar scenario last year and eliminated Milwaukee, will now try to reach the final of the East. The winner of the Miami-New York pair will be waiting for them there. Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey each scored 26 points for Philadelphia, James Harden added 13. Embiid also grabbed 10 rebounds.
