AC Milan plans to extend Theo Hernandez's contract
AC Milan are planning to offer Theo Hernandez a new contract in an attempt to fend off interest from foreign teams in the French defender, reports Italian publication Calciomercato.com. The 26-year-old has already rejected inquiries from Paris Saint-Germain over the past two years as he wants to continue at the Milan giants after his successful four-year spell at the club so far.
Hernandez has earned his status as one of the best left-backs in the world and continues to be a key part of head coach Stefano Pioli's squad. The Frenchman scored 25 goals and added 28 assists in a total of 176 games with the Milan team. Theo Hernandez's current contract expires in June 2026, and the management of the "Rossoneri" want to keep him in their ranks for a longer period. Negotiations have not yet started, but the wishes of both sides coincide and talks could start in the spring of next year.
