Al-Hilal boasted another star purchase

Zenit's Brazilian winger Malcom is now a football player for Saudi Arabia's Al-Hilal. Financial details of the transfer were not disclosed, but a week ago the executive director of the Russians, Alexander Medvedev, told the RIA Novosti agency that Al-Hilal was ready to pay 60 million euros for the team's goal scorer.

The 26-year-old winger is Al-Hilal's fourth new signing this summer. Senegalese defender Kalidou Koulibaly, Serbian midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Portugal's Ruben Neves were previously brought in. Malcom, who is a former Barcelona player, became the Russian Premier League's top scorer with 23 goals as Zenit won the title.

The Brazilian is another star name that landed in the Saudi league. Al-Hilal is from Riyadh, one of the historically strongest clubs in the country, but lost both the title and the national cup last season. Al-Hilal also fought for the signature of Lionel Messi, who, however, chose to continue his journey in the American Inter Miami. The club also failed in its attempt to buy Kylian Mbappe.
