Amrabat is officially a football player of Manchester United
Manchester United have officially signed Sofiane Amrabat from Fiorentina, the club have announced. The Moroccan arrives at Old Trafford on a one-year loan that will cost the Red Devils 10 million euros. From "Old Trafford" they have an optional clause to buy the player next summer for 20 million euros and 5 more in the form of bonuses.
"It is a huge honor to be a Manchester United player. I had to be patient for this moment, but I am a person who always listens to my heart and now I will be able to represent the club of my dreams. I am a passionate player and I want to bring that energy of mine to the team and put it into every action I take for the team.
I am aware of how Erik ten Hag works and what he wants from his players. His guidance developed me a lot as a player early in my career. I know he will help me show the best of my qualities to help my teammates to achieve success this season," said Amrabat himself.
The Moroccan midfielder and Ten Hag worked together in Utrecht. Last campaign, he made 49 appearances for Fiorentina and played in the Conference League final, which the Violets lost to West Ham. Amrabat becomes Manchester United's third new signing for today, after they announced the signings of Sergio Reguilon and Altai Byander from Old Trafford earlier.
