Ancelotti: It was important to win

Real Madrid's side had a tough night but still came away with a 2-0 win against Osasuna in a match of the 22nd round of La Liga. The coach of the "white ballet" Carlo Ancelotti attributed the suffered success to the ability of his players to play as a team.

"What we did in the second half, we could have done in the first, but we were slow with the decisive pass. I really liked the stability of the team and the solidarity of the players towards each other. It was important to win because it keeps the intrigue alive in the championship," commented Ancelotti to the Spanish newspaper Marca.

In just two days, Madrid have an important game against Liverpool. A team against which Carlo Ancelotti's graduates have traditionally won, but this time things could be different given Real Madrid's current form.
