Asensio is getting closer to a new contract with Real Madrid

The topic of the future of Real Madrid players whose contracts expire in the summer continues to be of great interest to the Spanish media. Today, "Marka" provides updated information on two of the cases that excite the fans of the "Whites" the most. According to the Madrid publication, Marco Asensio is very close to signing with the club and remaining part of the squad.

The Spaniard has scored more than 20% of Real's goals since the start of 2023 and, despite continues to fall short of starting status, has lived up to Carlo Ancelotti's confidence every time the seasoned specialist decides to call on him. Fir that  the management wants to keep Asensio, who, according to Marca, also prefers to stay at the Bernabeu, although Aston Villa and Tottenham are interested in him.

At the same time, Marca claims that Dani Ceballos is rather walking away from an agreement with the club for a new contract. Real sent him their offer for a new contract three weeks ago, but the player and his entourage are not enthusiastic. The publication informs that Betis, Atlético Madrid and a club from Italy are interested in him.
