Atletico lied to Betis in direct Champions League contention

The Atletico Madrid team defeated Betis 1:0 in their home game of the 27th round of the Spanish La Liga. The only goal in the match was scored by Angel Correa (86'). With the success, Madrid solidified themselves in third place and took an important step towards qualifying for next season's Champions League.

It happened thanks to Angel Correa, who received an accurate pass and slotted the ball into the bottom right corner of Silva's goal. The win was the fourth in a row for the "mattresses" as Betis snapped their highly successful six-match unbeaten run which also included a draw with Real Madrid.
