Balde lefts the Spain camp due to injury

Barcelona left-back Alejandro Balde has left the Spain national team camp after picking up an injury during last night's clash with Scotland. The talent was replaced at the break by Fran García, and his injury is in the adductor. Thus, La Roja coach Luis de la Fuente will not be able to count on Balde for the all-important visit to Norway on Sunday.

In place of the Barcelona player, Alfonso Pedraza from Real Betis was called up. Nico Williams, who has had problems since Tuesday and did not play against Scotland, also left the camp. Spain is currently in second place in Group A – three points behind leaders Scotland, but also with a game in hand over the Bagpipers. This means that with a win over Norway, the Spaniards will level on points with the Scots.
