Barcelona agreed loans for another 50 million euros

Barcelona, which is in financial crisis, managed to negotiate two new loans with a total maximum value of almost 50 million euros. The money from them is needed for the renovation project of the "Spotify Camp Nou" and the area around it, which starts at the end of the season.

The club revealed that they have reached an agreement with two Spanish banks for the granting of loans - one for a maximum of 17 million euros with a repayment period of April 30, 2026, and the other for 32.5 million with a repayment period of May 15 2026 Interest rates on new loans are not clear. Otherwise, the club is currently servicing other loans to the two banks.

All this comes against the background of the information that in the next summer alone the Catalans have to reduce by 200 million euros the amount they pay for salaries - not only to coaches and footballers, but also to their employees.
