Barcelona and Man United capture attention in the Europa League

The elimination phase of the Europa League tournament begins tonight. The first games of the playoffs are about to be played. There are certainly quite a few curious clashes awaiting us on the grounds of the Old Continent, but one of them stands out and that is the match between Barcelona and Manchester United.

The two teams are considered favorites in the tournament and the draw has made a bad joke of meeting them at such an early stage. We can safely call this clash the final before the final.

Barcelona will be playing in this playoff after surprisingly crashing out of the Champions League, finishing 3rd in their Group C. Manchester United reached this stage, finishing in 2nd place in Group E of the Europa League, although they were level on points with Real Sociedad.

Both teams have been in great form lately and we can expect some pretty exciting clashes between them. The first is tonight at the Cam Nou and everyone will be looking to take the lead ahead of the second leg.
