Barcelona interested in Eintracht forward

Barcelona-interested-in-Eintracht-forward

Barcelona are showing serious interest in Eintracht (Frankfurt) striker Daichi Kamada, claims Mundo Deportivo. The 26-year-old Japanese is having another strong season for the German club and this has not gone unnoticed by the Catalans, who are already considering a move for him.

The player is also out of contract in the summer, so he can be brought in without a transfer fee, which is an added bonus for the Spanish giants, who are already short on financial options at the moment.

Kamada arrived at Eintracht in 2017 and has so far made 156 appearances, 36 goals and 30 assists for the Frankfurt side. He is also a national player of Japan with 26 matches and 6 goals to his credit. The footballer mainly acts as a second striker, but can also play successfully at the top of the attack and also further back in the midfield.

Barcelona, on the other hand, will rely mainly on free agents in the summer, as the club cannot afford too big losses due to Financial Fair Play restrictions. It is because of this that Kamada is one of the footballers who have caught the attention of the Catalans.

However, Barca could face serious competition for the Japanese's signature. He is also wanted by Borussia (Dortmund), and it is not surprising that other clubs will join the bidding for him by the summer.
