Bayern are monitoring the Eric Dier situation

Bayern Munich are interested in Tottenham defender Eric Dier. "The Bavarians" are looking for a replacement in this area and have set their sights on the Englishman, writes "Bild". At "Allianz Arena" they are seriously considering the possibility of taking him in their ranks in January. Dier, 29, faces an uncertain future in north London after losing his starting place under Ange Postecoglou. Summer signing Mickey van de Ven formed a strong partnership in the center of defense with Christian Romero, which ended up having a negative impact on the playing time of Dier, who is yet to log any minutes since the start of the campaign.

Dyer has less than 12 months left on his current contract. This further fuels rumors that he is likely to leave the club in January. Bayern are looking to increase competition in the center of their defense and that is why they have set their sights on Dier. Until now, the Bavarians were believed to prefer Chelsea's Trevo Chalobah, but the Blues want around 30 million euros for him, and the German champions are reluctant to pay such a price. At the Allianz Arena, they are hoping they can reach an agreement with Tottenham and get Dier much cheaper, given his expiring contract.
