Boston refused to give up and cut its series deficit against Miami

The Boston team defeated Miami 110:97 (35:20, 26:24, 29:28, 20:25) in the fifth game of the final playoffs in the Eastern Conference of the NBA, reducing its deficit in the series to 2:3 success. Now the "Celts" do not look doomed in the series and can even dream of a turnaround after their rivals had won the first three games.

Boston's players did well, both individually and as a team. The main credit went to Jasem Tatum, who played excellently and made a "double-double", recording 21 points, 11 assists and 8 rebounds. In addition to Tatum, three other Boston players scored over 20 points: Jaylen Brown with 21, Marcus Smart with 23 and Derrick White with 24.

On the other side, Miami also fought hard and tried to end the series tonight, but the team only managed to win the last quarter and eventually fell. Team leader Jimmy Butler had 14 points and 5 rebounds and 5 assists each. Duncan Robinson recorded 18 points, 9 assists and 4 rebounds, while Bam Adebayo had 16 points and 8 rebounds.

The next match between the two teams is in Miami on May 28 (Sunday) at 3:30 am Bulgarian time. If Boston succeeds, the clash will go to a decisive seventh game, which is currently scheduled for May 30 (Tuesday), but this time in Boston. However, if today's winners lose, Miami will officially win the NBA East final series. So far, no team in the American championship has been able to turn the series in their favor after falling behind 0:3.
