Cannonier and Vettori split $100,000 in bonuses

Jared Cannonier and Marvin Vettori each earned $50,000 bonuses for the spectacle they put on at UFC Vegas 75. The two headlined the fight gala that took place this morning (6/18) at the UFC's APEX Center. Cannonier won by decision after dominating Vettori for four rounds. The Italian started the fight stronger, but in the second part he started to take a lot of blows and was also knocked down several times.

Despite the damage he sustained, Vettori fought to the very end for the win, but Cannonier was the better fighter in this fight. Two other fighters also received additional financial bonuses. Manuel Torres' bill swelled to $50,000 for his stunning elbow knockout over Nicolas Motta, and Alessandro Costa crushed Jimmy Flick with a fearsome ground-and-pound on the ground that was also valued at $50,000 by the UFC.
