Chelsea have finalized the transfer of talent from Manchester City

Chelsea have officially announced the signing of Manchester City attacking midfielder Cole Palmer. The "Blues" from London will pay the sum of 40 million pounds plus possible bonuses for the 21-year-old talented Englishman. Palmer, who is a Manchester City teenager, has signed a long-term contract with Chelsea until 2030, with an option to extend the contract.

The young footballer started the season well for the "citizens", scoring two goals in 3 matches - in the finals for the "Community Shield" with Arsenal and in the match for the European Super Cup against Sevilla. Last season, he made 25 appearances for Man City, scoring one goal and providing one assist. Palmer also had 13 appearances and 4 goals for England's under-21 side, who won the European Championship that summer.

"I'm excited to get started and it's great to have signed. I joined Chelsea because the project here looks like good for young talents and  I will have to try to show my talents. The team is young and hungry for big wins so I hope we can do something special here," Palmer told his new team's club website.
