Darth Bader destroyed the legend Emelianenko
Ryan Bader didn't feel sorry for Fedor Emelianenko in his last MMA fight. The heavyweight champion from the USA shared the cage with Emelianenko in a fight for the gold. The two headlined the Bellator 290 event, which took place in California. The Last Emperor hoped that he would become champion in his last MMA fight, but it did not happen.
Emelianenko was unable to do anything in this match. Darth Bader started aggressively and knocked him down with a right hook. Ryan then latched onto the legend and began to land a heavy ground-and-pound on him. Fyodor simply had no way to get back on his feet.
Bader continued to force it, then Herb Dean stepped in and stopped the fight. So Ryan defended the title in a fight that lasted 2 minutes and 30 seconds.
With this victory, Bader entered a streak of 3 consecutive victories. Emelianenko, on the other hand, ends with a streak of 2 consecutive victories. Bader became the only MMA fighter to win 2 times in fights against the legendary Russian.
Fedor retires from MMA at the age of 46 and with a record of 40-7-1 in the cage. After the fight, a bunch of MMA legends entered the cage to show their respect for the legendary fighter.
