Douglas Costa signed with LA Galaxy

Brazilian national Douglas Costa signed with the Los Angeles Galaxy team in the American Football League. The 31-year-old last played on loan at Gremio, Brazil.

"The Los Angeles Galaxy has announced that the club has hired Douglas Costa on a six-month lease. After this period, the player will sign a contract for a year and a half until the end of the 2023 season," the club said.



The former Juventus and Bayern Munich player has scored three goals in 26 games for Brazil's Gremio last season.

"Douglas is a world-class player and a proven champion," said Grex Vanny, head coach of the Los Angeles Galaxy.
