Frank Vogel is the new head coach of the Phoenix Suns

Frank Vogel will be the new head coach of the Phoenix Suns. The 49-year-old specialist returns to the coaching profession after a year's absence, after being fired in the summer of 2022 by the Los Angeles Lakers team, with which he won the NBA title in the 2019/20 season.

In Phoenix, Vogel will replace Monty Williams, who was fired last month after the team was eliminated by the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference semifinals. In three seasons as the Lakers' head coach, Vogel posted a 127-98 regular season record. Before that, he was also in charge of the Indiana Pacers and Orlando Magic teams.
