Great news for Rafael Nadal

The spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal will plays at the Australian Open in January next year, tournament director Craig Tiley announced. Nadal, 37 years old, ended the 2023 season precisely in Melbourne, where he was eliminated in the second round. He underwent hip surgery in June and the recovery period was approximately half a year. "Rafa will be back for the Australian Open. He hasn't played for almost a year, but we've been in touch with him in the last few days and he's confirmed he'll be here," Tiley said in an interview with The Today Show.
