Guardiola Holland will have big problems in the coming years

Manchester City manager Josep Guardiola believes Erling Holland's astonishing performance has its downsides as it will lead to unrealistic expectations of the Norwegian forward.  Holland scored a hat-trick in a 5-0 FA Cup win over Burnley yesterday.

The 22-year-old striker scored a total of 9 goals in the last 3 matches of the "citizens".  He boasts a total of 42 goals during the season at club level.  Cristiano Ronaldo also scored as much in the 2007/08 season, while the record in one campaign in England is held by Mohamed Salah and Ruud van Nistelrooy with 44 goals each.

"In the future, this boy will have problems because people will expect him to score 3-4 goals in every game, and that cannot happen.  I know he doesn't get excited about it like they say about him, he's positive and never complains.  I don't know what numbers he is aiming for, but when we play like this, he will score regularly," commented Guardiola.

"We are in good shape at the moment.  After the first match with RB Leipzig, we are scoring a lot of goals, conceding few and being more dangerous in static situations than before.  I never felt that we could score a goal with every foul or corner", shared the Catalan specialist.

"Arsenal will rarely drop points and we have to win almost every game.  We continue the fight on three fronts.  It is an honor that we will play against Bayern, as well as that we will go to "Wembley" again for the FA Cup", added Guardiola.
