Guardiola: We should have been more aggressive
Manchester City stumbled in their Premier League round of 24 match against Nottingham Forest and finished 1-1. However, the manager of the "Citizens" Josep Guardiola commented that his players showed one of their best games since the beginning of the season.
"We did very well. We played an extremely good game. We had some great moments, but that's football. We should have scored. We did everything we could. We had too many clear chances to score. It was one of our best games but we lost two points. We should have been more aggressive. There are still a lot of games and we are well aware of that," Guardiola said, quoted by the BBC.
After this meeting, Manchester City collected 52 points and is 2 points behind the leader Arsenal, who also has a game in hand.
