Harry Maguire: I work hard every day
Harry Maguire addressed Manchester United manager Eric ten Haag after the Red Devils' 3-1 win over Reading in the fourth round of the FA Cup. The defender started for only the third time since returning from the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
After the victory at Old Trafford, the England international confirmed that he understood what Ten Hague expected of him as he works his way back into regular first-team action.
“I feel like I've taken care of myself. It's been two and a half weeks since my last launch. I worked hard in training. When I get the opportunity I need, I take it and help us win. It was good to be there and help the boys. I work hard every day, I train well and when I get a chance I have to take it," Maguire told ITV.
Harry Maguire has played just 8 Premier League games so far and has accumulated just 387 game minutes. This is his worst season in terms of appearances since joining Manchester United in 2019.
