Inter rejected Man United's first offer for Onana

Inter have rejected Manchester United's first bid for goalkeeper Andre Onana. Red Devils manager Erik ten Hag is personally pushing for his move to Old Trafford and Red Devils bosses have already opened talks with representatives of the Nerazzurri. For now, however, the two sides are far from reaching an agreement, writes "Sportitalia".

United's offer was between 45 and 50 million euros, including bonuses, which is much less than the price that Inter have set for this player. The Italian club are hoping to get 60 million euros for the Cameroonian, ready to launch possible negotiations of a minimum of 50 million euros.

The 27-year-old goalkeeper joined Inter as a free agent from Ajax last summer. Gradually, he established himself as Simone Inzaghi's first choice and replaced veteran Samir Handanovic under the frame. Onana played 41 games last season, conceding 36 goals and keeping 19 clean sheets. In the meantime, however, Inter are already looking for a possible replacement for Onana. The Nerazzurri are said to have targeted Shakhtar (Donetsk) guard Anatoly Turbin.
