John Fury I don't want Tyson to fight Wilder because he will kill him
John Fury, the father of WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (33-0), shared that he does not want a fourth fight for his son with former champion Deontay Wilder (43-2).
Fury and Wilder had 3 fights between 2018 and 2021. The first one was quite dramatic and ended in a draw. In the next two meetings, Tyson won by knockout. Wilder took a lot of damage in those fights, but still wants a fourth fight.
There could be one if Deontay defeats Andy Ruiz in a broadcast battle for a WBC gold contender. However, John does not want a fourth duel because, according to him, there is a danger that Tyson will kill the American.
“I'll be nervous if there's a fourth fight with Wilder because I'm afraid Tyson will kill Wilder. Diontaeus has a cracked skull, cracked like an egg.
Such things are irreparable, and when Tyson hits him again, it could kill him. We've defeated him three times, he's not a threat. The only danger is Tyson, who will kill him. I don't want to go to my grave knowing that my son killed someone in the ring," Fury told All Out Fighting.
