Lewandowski: Referees are killing La Liga
Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski has strongly criticized the level of refereeing in La Liga. According to him, the championship is not attractive enough and the judges are mainly to blame for that. "La Liga is not attractive and attacking enough. The referees are killing the championship. I did not expect that the Spanish teams do not want to play football," said Lewandowski in an interview with the Polish publication Meczyki.
He also shared his opinion about Barca's young star Lamin Yamal. According to him, the 16-year-old talent should not be burdened with too many expectations that will ruin him at an early age. "How many players who broke through so young continued to be at their level when they turned 30?" asked the Pole. Finally, the 35-year-old veteran admitted that age is starting to take its toll and is already considering quitting the Polish national team. "Sometimes fatigue hits you in the last 15 minutes of the match. Then you have to make extra efforts to stay at the same level," said Leva.
