Liverpool have sent scouts to Manchester's United transfer target
After having already revamped his attack and midfield, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is already making plans for defences to his squad. According to "Mirror", scouts of the club are already closely monitoring the performances of Sporting (Lisbon) central defender Gonzalo Inacio. He is the same transfer target of Manchester United, and it was expected that the Red Devils would make an offer for him in the summer if Harry Maguire was sold.
Last week, Liverpool scouts watched Inacio's performances in Portugal's match against Bosnia and Herzegovina. However, the defender then had little to do as the Mariners won 5-0 with five goals before the break. Inacio, 22, has already made 129 appearances for Sporting's first team. His composure in control and ball handling in defense are one of the main qualities that have attracted Jurgen Klopp. The German sees in him a long-term replacement for Virgil van Dijk, who is already 32 years old.
