Luke Shaw added to Ten Haag's problems

Manchester United left-back Luke Shaw will be out for several weeks after picking up a muscle injury, the club have announced. It is the second injury to a starting player in Erik ten Hag's selection after that of Mason Mount, who according to the English media could miss up to six weeks.

Shaw has started both of United's games so far and his injury means he will also miss England's games against Ukraine and Scotland at the start of September. It will be interesting to see who will use Erik ten Haag in that position against Nottingham Forest as Tyrell Malacia is also injured and Brendan Williams has been sent out on loan to Ipswich. 20-year-old Alvaro Fernandez is the only left-back currently available.
