Maldini to Spalletti You won the title, what the hell do you want?
The head coach of Napoli - Luciano Spalletti, and the technical director of Milan - Paolo Maldini, got into a verbal conflict during the break of the match of the 28th round of Serie "A" between the two teams, journalist Gianluca di Marzio reports.
The situation happened at the break of the meeting when, before going out for the second half, Spalletti complained to the referee about the yellow card received by Stanislav Lobotka. This sight caught Maldini, who started shouting at the coach of the Neapolitans.
“Sir, you are nervous, but you have already won the title, what the hell do you want?” said the sporting director of the Milan team.
Initial reports said that Spalletti did not like the gestures with which AC Milan striker Leao celebrated the first goal scored in the 17th minute of the match, when the Portuguese made an obscene face with his hands on his cheeks and his tongue sticking out. However, the Napoli coach clarified that the dispute arose because of Lobotka's card.
In the end, the Neapolitans lost the game by a crushing 0-4, but maintained their respectable 16-point lead over second-placed Lazio, and Milan took a breather, ending their negative streak of three consecutive games without a win.
