Man City are considering a bid for Rafinha
Barcelona winger Rafinha has caught the eye of Manchester City. "Etihad" has targeted the Brazilian as a possible replacement for Riyad Mahrez, who is about to transfer to Saudi Arabia, writes "Foot Mercato". The 26-year-old had a controversial first season at Camp Nou. He alternated very strong games with other less impressive performances. For now, the Brazilian international remains in the plans of Xavi Hernandez, but there have also been reports that the club may agree to sell him if the offer is good enough.
Pep Guardiola has liked Rafinha's qualities since his time at Leeds. He believes that the player will fit perfectly in the scheme of the "citizens", being able to be used in several positions in attack. Another plus is that he has experience in the Premier League and will not need to adapt. Rafinha played 50 games for Barca in all competitions last season, scoring 10 goals and providing 12 assists. He also has 16 caps and 5 goals for Brazil's national team.
