New problems for Milan

The problems for Milan are increasing after everything seems that the midfielder Ismael Benasser has a serious injury. The Algeria international was forced off in the 18th minute with a suspected knee injury, and Sky Sport Italia showed in its post-match broadcast that he left the San Siro stadium on crutches.

According to the Italian media, Benasser will undergo medical examinations today and the club will eventually issue an official statement on his condition, but it is already clear that he remains a serious question mark for the return match with Inter on May 16. The Algerian international has three goals and two assists in 40 appearances in all competitions this season.

This would be another injury problem for Stefano Pioli,  who can't used the big star Rafael Leao who missed l ast night's semi-final with Inter (0:2), without whom the "Rossoneri" were toothless in attacking positions. The club hope that the Portuguese will be ready at least for the return match with the city rivals next week.
