New sanctions threaten Juventus

The Italian Football Federation has accused Juventus and seven former and current directors of the club of "salary fraud", creating new risks for the "old lady", Football-italia claims, citing La Gazzetta dello sport.

The leaders of the club from Turin, who may fall under the sanctions of the football authorities of "Botusha" are Andrea Agnelli, Pavel Nedved, Fabio Paratici, Federico Cherubini, Giovanni Mana, Paolo Morganti and Stefano Bragin. More specifically, their names have been added in violation of Article 4 of the Sports Code, and it is assumed that the trial against them will take place in the month of June this year.

On the other hand, the prosecutor Giuseppe Cine accused the club itself of violating Article 6 of the same code. Thus, the club faces a number of penalties, including: a warning, a penalty and another penalty with a further deduction of points. The Bianconeri, cooperating with the prosecution, hoped only to be fined, but the federation's prosecutor rejected these attempts.

It is not yet clear how large a points penalty will be requested, but it will become known as early as Monday, May 22, when the "old lady" is about to find out about another penalty of hers in another financial case, which will apply to the 2022/2023 season .
