Pau Gasol's team wins the Rising Stars Game

Pau Gasol's team won the "Rising Stars Game", which kicked off the "All-Star Weekend" in the National Basketball Association of the USA and Canada. In the final of the mini-tournament in Salt Lake City, Gasol's team beat Joachim Noah's team 25:20.

With seven points, Benedict Maturin from the Indiana Pacers was the best scorer for the winners, Scotty Barnes from the Toronto Raptors scored six, and New Orleans Pelicans guard Jose Alvarado scored five points. The Puerto Rican also scored the winning basket in the match with a three-point shot and thus won the award for "Most Valuable Player".

The Spaniard's team prevailed 40-25 over Deron Williams' squad behind Alvarado's 13 points, while Noah's team beat Jason Terry's all-G-League team 40-32.

Tonight is the NBA Skills Contest, while the highlight of the show in Salt Lake City is Sunday night on Monday with the All-Star Game between the teams of LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo.
