Phoenix evened the series against the Clippers


Devin Booker had 38 points and 9 assists as the Phoenix Suns beat the Los Angeles Clippers 123-109 in the first round of the NBA playoffs. Thus, the two teams have exchanged one win each in the two-game series so far.

Kevin Durant added 25 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for Phoenix. Kawhi Leonard had 31 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists and 3 steals for Los Angeles. Russell Westbrook added 28 points for the Clippers.

The Clippers trailed by 13 points in the fourth quarter of the game, but Leonard scored a three-pointer and Westbrook added two baskets, as the team reduced its deficit to just 6 points with 3 minutes left. But Los Angeles was unable to score until the end of the match. The third game between the two teams is Thursday in Los Angeles.
