PSG fear a financial disaster because of Mbappe
The rift between Kylian Mbappe and the management of Paris Saint-Germain appears to be unbridgeable and it is not clear whether either party will be inclined to back down. Parisians want Mbappe to extend his contract until 2025, and the footballer himself refuses to re-sign and plans to leave as a free agent next summer.
According to "Team", if Mbappe leaves without a transfer fee, it could lead to a financial disaster for the French giants. The club is counting on its sale to solve all its problems with financial fair play. The player himself had promised that he would not leave as a free agent, but he broke his promise. For the PSG bosses, there are two options: either Mbappe agrees to activate the clause to extend his contract for another season, or he is sold immediately.
However, the world champion is ready to agree to a transfer only if he receives the wages until the end of his current contract and a loyalty bonus totaling 150 million euros. "Team" adds that "Parc des Princes" have no idea how Mbappe will react if the club accepts an offer for him from Real Madrid or another of the candidates for his signature.
