PSG had no problem with Mbappe leaving as a free agent
The management of Paris Saint-Germain has already accepted and has no problem with the possible departure of Kylian Mbappe without a transfer fee next summer, "Equip" reports. The France captain's contract expires in the summer and the Parisian bosses are continuing to try to convince the player to sign a new one, but from a financial point of view, his departure as a free agent is expected and will not be such a big blow. That's because Mbappe agreed to forgo huge bonuses during talks between him and management in August.
Mbappe's current contract is for two years and was surprisingly signed at the end of May 2022, when he was promised extremely high additional payments in order to tempt him to continue his stay at Parc des Princes. In the summer, the management of PSG stopped Mbappe from training with the first team and did not take him on the official tour of the club. The two sides have been in a strained relationship for weeks after he announced that he had no intention of re-signing his contract and extending his stay with the team.
After that, negotiations were held between Mbappé and his representatives on the one hand and Sheikh Nasser Al-Khelaifi on the other, in which the positions of both parties were clarified and it was then that the player's refusal of the large bonuses came about, which in turn led to and until his return to the team. Mbappe is currently the top scorer in Ligue 1 with ten goals. Real Madrid is considered the absolute favorite for a new team on the blade.
