PSG president: Mbappe is helping to build the club's future
The president of Paris Saint-Germain, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, will not be able to attend the match between his team and Milan at San Siro. He underwent knee surgery and was advised by doctors not to travel to Italy. "It will not be easy to be away from the players, Luis Enrique and director Campos, with whom I am in constant contact. San Siro has an incredible history and atmosphere. This is a fortress where you play against 12 opponents. I love Milan, I often go there for business and pleasure.
I will watch the game on TV. It will be a titanic battle between two great clubs", said El-Khelaifi in an interview with "Gadzeta delo Sport". He also spoke about Gianluigi Donnarumma, who will return to San Siro: "Gijo is among the best goalkeepers in the world. He is still young and a great professional, an outstanding person. When he signed with us, he had just become the European champion and was voted the best player of the tournament". Al-Khelaifi also commented on the ever-present topic with Kylian Mbappe.
He said he had not seen Real Madrid's statement in which the Spanish club officially said they were not in talks with the star. "Kilian continues to achieve great goals. People probably take it for granted, but nobody has played in two World Cup finals and had a hat-trick. Kylian is the best player in the world and it is fantastic to watch him lead PSG and France. He has a positive effect on the young players and helps build the future of PSG", commented the president.
