Real Madrid are worried about parting with Benzema

Real Madrid's biggest star and captain Karim Benzema could leave the club in the summer, according to various sources in Spain. As is known, the contract of the 35-year-old attacker expires in exactly one month. The situation is similar with two other experienced leaders of the team: Toni Kroos and Luka Modric.

As Fabrizio Romano claims, the German has already agreed to extend his contract, and the Croatian is just waiting for a call from the club. In contrast, Benzema has yet to announce his decision to management despite insistence by directors.

Therefore, according to Marca, El Larguero and Deportes Cuatro, the Madrid goalscorer is currently closer to leaving the Santiago Bernabeu than renewing his contract with the club. The silence of the player towards the bosses of "los blancos" continues even after Real's elimination from the semi-finals of the Champions League, which worries the people around the president Florentino Perez.

Meanwhile, Relevo informs that Benzema has received a tempting offer from Saudi Arabia. From there, they offered him 200 million euros for two seasons, and to this will be added money from image rights and advertising, as well as the construction of schools under the patronage of the Frenchman.

Marca also indicate the specific club that made this offer: Al-Ittihad, with the newspaper referring to the same source that gave them the information about the transfer of Cristiano Ronaldo to the local Al-Nasser.

In Madrid, however, they will not sit idly by and in such a case they will benefit from attracting a top striker. It is now clear that their intention is to take Joselu from Espanyol following the departure of total disappointment Mariano Diaz.

When parting with Benzema, however, the club will choose between Harry Kane (Tottenham), as Onda Cero believes, or Lautaro Martinez (Inter), as mentioned by The Athletic's Spanish journalist Mario Cortegana. The choice of coach Carlo Ancelotti is the scoring machine of "Spurs".
