Real Madrid beat AC Milan with a phenomenal turnaround
The teams of Real Madrid and Milan started this night the matches of their pre-season training in the USA. The two giants of European football played a famous match at the "Rose Bowl" stadium in Pasadena, California, which ended 3:2 for the "Kings". The goals were scored by Fikayo Tomori (26') and Luca Romero (42') for Milan, while Valverde (58', 59') and Vinicius Junior (84') scored for Real Madrid.
Carlo Ancelotti has decided not to experiment with most of his squad and is starting with some of his best players. Reserve goalkeeper Andriy Lyulin from Ukraine may start in goal, but immediately after him the players on the field respect their names. Players such as Militao, new signing Bellingham, Nacho, Kroos, Joselu and Mendy are seen, who will surely harass the opposing defense and not allow cracks in their ranks.
The situation with the "Rossoneri" is one idea different and Stefano Pioli has decided to launch a more balanced line-up. Marco Sportiello, who is not among Milan's most famous guards, starts in goal. In defense we see players like Calabria, Simic, Tomori and Florenzi, and in the center of the field Loftus-Cheek, Krunic and Pobega will be active. At the top of the attack is Pulisic, who will be assisted by Mesias and the young Lorenzo Colombo.
The match started at an unexpectedly calm pace and both teams did not rush into an aggressive attack to please the packed stadium. However, the game picked up in the second half of the opening half and the Milan side scored twice to go into the break with a comfortable lead. They were the work of Fikayo Tomori and Luca Romero.
At half-time, both teams replaced all their players and restarted the clash with completely new players. This changed things 180 degrees and made them as wonderful for the "Kings" as they were terrible for the "Rossoneri". It all started to unravel for Stefano Pioli's men around an hour into the game after the first whistle when Valverde scored two quick goals in less than 60 seconds to level the scores.
That's how it came to the 84th minute, when another murderous attack by Madrid put the last nail in the coffin of Pioli and company. Then the third in the world, Luka Modric, once again this season, found Vinicius Junior with a brilliant cross, who sent the ball into Milan's goal for the third time.
