Real Madrid is heading for a world title with Argentina

Real Madrid are interested in signing Brighton midfielder Alexis McAllister. The "Santiago Bernabeu" are looking for options to replace Luka Modric, whose contract is expiring, and have set their sights on the world champion with Argentina, "Tutomercato" claims.

McAllister shones with his performance at the World Cup in Qatar, where he played a key role in Argentina's path to the world title. At Brighton, he has also performed quite strongly, with 26 appearances this season, 9 goals and 1 assist in all competitions.

However, Real could face serious competition for the signature of the 24-year-old footballer, who is also wanted by Manchester United, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain. In Brighton, it is expected that they will place a rather high price on one of their most important players.

The club are aware they can take a serious fee for him after Chelsea paid €127m for his national team-mate Enzo Fernandez. At the "Santiago Bernabeu" they also have a backup option if they fail to bring in Mack Allister. This is Napoli midfielder Stanislav Lobotka.
