Rumors of Mbappe's loan move to Chelsea are intensifying

The saga surrounding the future of PSG striker Kylian Mbappe continues in full force. The player's future is up in the air after he refused to sign a new contract with the club and the Parisians are doing everything possible to sell him this summer to avoid letting him go without money next year. At this stage, however, there is not a large influx of buyers due to the player's too high price. Thus, the option of renting the Frenchman seems to be becoming more and more real, as it is now increasingly rumored that Chelsea are working on a similar deal with the Parisians, according to "Sport". Despite bringing in Christopher Nkunku and Nicholas Jackson, Chelsea continue to work on strengthening their attacking prowess.

That's why owner Todd Boeli has taken on the task of bringing Mbappe to Stamford Bridge. He has already held several talks with PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi on this topic and the chance of such a deal is real. Mbappe himself is also inclined to such a transfer. The player has no desire to make a permanent move to the Londoners, as it is rumored that he has a contract from next year to move as a free agent to Real Madrid.

However, the 24-year-old Frenchman is ready to wear the blues outfit for a season, especially after it became clear that otherwise he risks spending a year on the sidelines after PSG dropped him from their squad and do not intend to rely on him, and they are even close to attracting his replacement in the person of Gonzalo Ramos from Benfica. The loan deal between Chelsea and PSG is not the best for both clubs, as the Londoners will only take Mbappe for one season, while the Parisians will not be able to collect a particularly big fee for him. At this stage, however, it appears to be the only realistic option.
