Russell Westbrook changed teams in the NBA for the second time since the beginning of the month




2016/17 NBA Most Valuable Player Russell Westbrook will change teams for the second time this month after agreeing to sign with the Los Angeles Clippers.

Westbrook was traded to the Utah Jazz from the Los Angeles Lakers at the end of the NBA transfer window with over $13 million remaining on the deal. The Clippers finalized the deal with the basketball player earlier today, according to ESPN.

According to the information of the American media, Westbrook will buy out his contract with Utah to return to Los Angeles and play for the "scissors". The 34-year-old NBA veteran's minimum salary for the final two months of the regular season and playoffs will be $784,914.

Westbrook revealed he bought a $37 million property in the Los Angeles suburb of Brentwood, near LeBron James' home, when he signed with the Lakers.
