Russia may want Euro 2032

Russia can apply to host Euro 2032, informs "Sport-Express". The idea is already materializing and names for the organizing committee of the candidacy are being discussed.

According to the State Duma MP and head of the Committee on Physical Culture and Sports Dmitry Svishtev, receiving the household is completely real after the adoption of Euro 2020 matches and the 2018 World Cup.

"Russia is without a doubt the best prepared of all possible contenders. We have great stadiums and exceptional infrastructure. We are always  ready 100 percent  for such big tournaments, we already have experience and resources. If our application is approved, then everyone will be satisfied with the level of organization ", the MP commented.



UEFA has not yet received anything official about the intentions of the Russian side.

"At the moment we do not have additional information about the applications of countries to host the European Championships in 2028 and 2032," commented the UEFA press service.

The applications of the countries to host the European Championships in 2028 and 2032 are accepted until March 23, 2022. The winners will be announced in September 2023.
