Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has slammed young Rodrigo for the disrespect he showed when he was substituted in Thursday night's Copa del Rey clash with Villarreal. The Brazilian was taken out in the 56th at 0:2, but did not greet the coach, but passed him and sat on the bench. The experienced Italian got angry and headed towards the player and made a remark to him.

"I told him not to forget to give me a hand. I think in this case he forgot", Ancelotti approached the cameras diplomatically afterwards. In the event itself, however, according to the Spanish media, he addressed Rodrigo with the words "Tu a mi, me saludas" (You to me, you must greet me - in Spanish).

Ancelotti's decision to bring off the 22-year-old Brazil international proved pivotal as just a minute later the turnaround began, making it 3-2 to Real.
