Sweden went wild after the break

Sweden crushed Azerbaijan 5-0 and registered their first win in Group "F" of the European qualifiers. "Tre Konur" had to get revenge on their fans after the heavy loss against Belgium a few days ago and they came away with a convincing victory, but it came in the last part of the match. The Swedes were without Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who has a health problem and was not on the bench.

The Scandinavians had problems in the beginning and it was difficult to get things going. Emil Forschberg managed to break through the opponent's defense in the 38th minute. After the break, things got easier for the Swedes, and Azerbaijan's defense helped that. An own goal by Mustafazada in the 65th minute made the score 2:0.

Victor Gokeres scored the third goal 10 minutes before the end. In the remaining time, two of the reserves signed up. Jesper Karlsson did it first with his first goal for the national team. He scored after a magnificent performance from a free kick. Antony Elanga was also among the scorers seconds later.
