The anti-Barcelona front is growing

The highest sports council in Spain will join the corruption case against the Barcelona football club, the newspaper "Marca" reports. The head of the organization, Jose Manuel Franco, is ready to take action after the claim against the "blue-reds" is accepted by the court.

The Supreme Sports Council, which is a department of the Spanish Ministry of Culture and Sports and the main sports body of the Spanish government, can join the case as a private prosecutor.

The prosecutor's office in Barcelona filed a case against the club and its former presidents Josep Bartomeu and Sandro Rosell in a case of possible corruption in payments to the former vice president of the Refereeing Commission of the Spanish Football Federation, Jose Maria Enriquez Negreira.
