The Barcelona's future star with a serious injury

The Barcelona's future player Vitor Roque will be out of action for between 6 and 8 weeks, Mundo Deportivo reports. The Brazilian has a grade three ankle sprain and will be on the mend for nearly two months, although the good news is that gloomy predictions that he could be out for the rest of the season have not come true. The 18-year-old striker suffered the injury during his Atlético  match with Internacional after being fouled by an opposing player and was eventually forced to be substituted in the 11th minute. The curious thing is that the player who caused the injury to the young talent - the Colombian Nicolas Hernandez, is actually owned by Atlético and has been transferred.

Vitor Roque was already bought by Barcelona for 30 million euros, but remained on loan at his club. It is not clearly yet whether he will join the Catalans next summer or as early as January of the new year. After the injury, Barca immediately contacted Atletico PR to inquire about Vitor Roque's physical condition. The Catalan club is aware of the player's condition and it is the medical services of the two clubs that have exchanged detailed information about the medical tests carried out. Vitor Roque has been in great form since the start of the season, with 20 goals and 8 assists in 42 appearances for his club, and has already made his debut for Brazil.
