The Luka Jovic is close to starts his first match for Milan

The Serbian Luka Jovic is hoping to gets his first opportunity to start for AC Milan when they visit Cagliari in the sixth round of the Italian Serie A. Head coach Stefano Pioli is likely to use the week's game to make some changes to the squad and give a chance to players who have not yet made the starting XI this season, according to Gazzetta dello Sport newspaper.

It will also be an opportunity for some of the key players to get the rest they need. Among them will probably be the 36-year-old Olivier Giroud, who has been an unchanged starter for the Rossoneri since the beginning of the season. Christian Pulisic and Rafael Leao could also be rested. Jovic, 25, arrived at Milan from Fiorentina in the summer transfer window.
