Washington Wizards second all-time leading scorer Bradley Beal was fined $25,000 after making physical contact with an official during Saturday's win over the Indiana Pacers, reports overseas said.

The incident occurred when Beal attempted to intercept a pass near the touchline, accidentally bumping into referee John Butler's shoulder. Butler fell into several empty seats, then the game continued without a technical foul as a result of the contact.

Three-time All-Star Bradley Beal, who needs just 577 more points to pass Alvin Hayes as the Wizards' all-time leading scorer, thought he got away with a fine, but the fine was imposed after reviewing the situation.
