Tsitsipas battled a German en route to the round of 1/2 in Antwerp

The leader in the scheme Stefanos Tsitsipas (Greece) qualified for the semifinals of the men's tennis tournament on hard surface in Antwerp (Belgium) of the ATP 250 series with a prize fund of 673,630 euros. Tsitsipas overcame fifth-seeded German Yannick Hanfmann 6:3, 6:3 after just 71 minutes of play. The Greek tennis player had no problems against the 56th in the world ranking Hanfman and with a total of three breaks he reached the success. His opponent in the semi-finals will be the winner of the match between fourth-seeded Frenchman Arthur Fiss and eighth-seeded Juan Pablo Varias of Peru.

Kazakhstan's Alexander Bublik and Germany's Maximilian Marterer will face each other in the other semi-final. The third-seeded Bublik defeated the Frenchman Giovanni Mpechi Pericar in the quarterfinals with 6:4, 4:6, 6:2. The match lasted an hour and 28 minutes. The representative of Kazakhstan led after 6:4 in the first set, but the French tennis player made a decisive breakthrough at the end of the second part and equalized. However, Alexander Bublik was decisive in the third set and after two breaks, he rejoiced with the victory. 28-year-old Maximilian Marterer was decisive against Hugo Gaston (France) and eliminated him after 6:3, 6:2 in just 63 minutes of play.
