Tyson Fury feuded with Jon Jones
The heavyweight champions in two different sports went toe-to-toe on social media. UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones and four-time champion Tyson Fury exchanged threats on Twitter as they were engaged in a hypothetical fight discussion by none other than UFC commentator Joe Rogan. On his popular podcast, Rogan stated that if Fury and Jones were locked in a room and had to choose one who would survive, it would be the MMA fighter. The King of the Gypsies did not like this prediction.
"I heard Rogan said something about me. I have not responded to this little, bald dwarf. I heard him say that John Jones could beat me up if we were in the same room. I don't think that's the case. No human can handle me in such a scenario. I will get out of this room no matter what. Jones didn't delay with his answer and threw down the gauntlet to the Briton.
“Hey, Tyson. Looks like Joe is the better then you. I admit that no one can beat you in the ring, but don't let that makes you think it will be the same in the cage. If you want to know the answers to your questions, just give Dana White a call. I'll help you," wrote Jones, and then threatened to end the fight with Fury in the first round.
Tyson Fury and Jones have no scheduled fights yet. In his last appearance between the ropes, the boxing master knocked out Derek Chisora. Jones took Cyril Gunn to task in less than two minutes in their last meeting in the cage.
